Construction Details:

We used the same pattern as we used for my last Ranma outfit, which was made by the costume designer Faerie Fingers (but is now out of print), except we modified it to be sleeveless. It's lined in white because I realize now Ranma actually has white lining. The frog brooches are from my old outfit. I seam-ripped them off because I couldn't find my extra ones in time for Otakon. The collar has stiffer interfacing in it this time as well. I'm still not satisfied with my shirt material choice. This is a little too stiff, but the last was too shiny!

I made both a white and belt belt for this outfit. In the second ending he has a white belt, but in episodes of the early 100s he has a black belt but just no arm cuffs.

The pants were made from the Faerie Fingers pattern too. Last time we didn't make pants and instead I bought martial arts pants. This time I wanted that genie-type silhouette Ranma's pants have and wanted the navy version. They have elastic and a drawstring at the waist. And elastic at the ankles made with a twill casting. I used ribbon with snaps on the end for his ankle bands/ribbons.

I bought new shoes since the old wore out and bought clip on bangs to put on my wig's bangs for more fullness.

Personal Thoughts:

It was so much fun to hang out with Technoranma as my adorable Shampoo.
