Personal Thoughts:

I love this costume. Haku was the first (but no where near the last) character that I Cosplayed from Naruto. He was the first character that I really liked from the series and the Haku and Zabuza arc is what really made Naruto stand out to me. Those two were such tragic and interesting characters and I love the redemption they go through in the series. Anyway, I had a bad day when I picked out the fabric and accidentally got the wrong colour (it's way too orange) but somehow the colours worked really nicely and looked good on me. XD This was a really challenging costume to do because of all the details (like the really long obi) and was the first time that I ever had really accurate footwear (I even painted the sandals that I bought to be the right colour). I actually really hate sandals in general so I made a real personal sacrifice to wear them with this costume. XD I wish my hair didn't give me so much trouble whenever I wore this costume. Maybe one day I'll buy a wig and re-wear this. Also, I sacrificed the turtleneck from this outfit for my Heather costume. I'll have to find and dye another turtleneck if I want to wear Haku again. I would also have to go through the long agonizing hours of painting my nails. I hate waiting for the paint to dry. XD
