Construction Details:

ACKKKKKK NEVER EVER AM I MAKING COSPLAY IN A HOTEL ROOM. FIRST TIME, LAST TIME. Yeah...that corset. Made the night/hours before. I choose fabrics based off the idea of a circus--shiny, flashy, glitzy. The corset and skirt are made of a pleather-esque fabric that had the thickness of coutile, which for a corset is great. Altered a Laughing Moon pattern and boned with zipties (GHETTOYESIKNOW). Eyelets were inserted with tools onto a bra and cording was cut (EVENMOREGHETTOGAH). Red is a stretch satin that I don't regret using, haha. Thighs are bought, and bands are a checker-painted bottomweight (bad decision #2...). Gloves from waist down were bought, up wrist up are made. Headband was made and I used wire to get the loops out of the flower.

Personal Thoughts:

I PROMISE TO LOVE THIS COSPLAY UNCONDITIONALLY WHEN I STOP MAKING BAD DECISIONS UGHHHHHHH. I've never felt like such a hot mess until I cosplayed Beast... ;A; I label this as hard because I'm already beginning to modify the corset so it's ACCURATE, but an open back and proper support to the bust are proving to be a major challenge for me. I do want to make this cosplay spectacular and I WILL. Beast is too cool of a character and needs more justice :V! SPECIAL THANKS TO: arukain (DA) for the photos.
