Construction Details:

My mom helped me a TON with the patterning of the coat and vest, and guided me with the sewing/putting together of the coat and vest. She did the gold decals for me since I didn't have much experience with sewing quite yet. The rest of the items (pants, button up shirt, shoes) were bought.The only thing that I can say I truly contributed into the outfit by myself was the eye mask that I made from scratch, back before they had official Okita masks made... :'D

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first crossplay! My favorite character is Okita, and Hakuku's favorite was Hijikata, so thus Shinsengumi cosplay was born~ It was so much fun to cosplay the characters and I hope to rewear the outfit again if/when I get another wig for Okita~
