Construction Details:

This costume was far more stressful than it should have been. The gold detailing was actually this delightfully cheap tapestry fabric that I finished the edges of before I sewed it to the costume. Everything else was just a matter of patterning and sewing together- but by crunch time, I was still freaking out.
