Construction Details:

My first time making a hat for a cosplay. It was interesting to say the least. I ended up making it on my sewing machine out of bowl-interfacing and the same blue broadcloth as the rest of the costume. It came out pretty good considering there was no plan.XD The pants are not elastic on the top (unusual for me because I'm super lazy with fittings.) The ruffles/bow is actually two separate pieces the pin onto the shirt using the blue jewel thing, which is a novelty button I found that I painted blue. All fabric is broadcloth. The bottom of the vest and the pants are actually over-dyed to give a variant from dark blue to lighter blue from my feet upward to match the reference picture.

Personal Thoughts:

This is definitely one of the more technical costumes I've made. I wish that more people knew the series though.

Styling Notes

Is a beautiful, heat-resistant wig that I bought off of ebay. The color is so vibrant and it's so soft; I love it! It came at about shoulder-length with chin-length bangs so I kamikazed it with my thinning scissors and fluffed it with some aquanet.
