About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
The skirt and collar are made of twill cotton, while the undershirt and blouse are made of stretchy cotton. All made in a weekend of tears, tears, and more tears. I botched up the sailor collar pretty badly on my first try, and had to transplant it onto the top after making it separately. I had to go by the anime for references at the time and didn't realize there was an additional skirt. Oh well.
The shield was made by the company Hole in the Ground Production, which can be found at http://www.holeinthegroundpro.com/index.html. - Personal Thoughts:
- I've always wanted to be a magical girl. Homura and I share the same serious, contemplative personality, but I think I tend to frown more.
