Construction Details:

Straightforward dress with fringe! I actually messed up the first dress so I had to make do with the remaining fabric. Spats and "helmet" are made from leftover blue fabric. Helmet holds its shape due to boning. Boot covers made from pleather. Random tidbit is that the "string" holding the red pouch is really just a really old rubber band. Weapon is made of cardboard and model magic. The red bead parts were molded inside.

Personal Thoughts:

Nausicaa's always been my favorite Miyazaki film and Nausicaa herself is among my favorite heroines. We did this shoot a bit out Also I need to empty those cartridges when I get the chance! o_o;;;
