Construction Details:

My sister did all the clothing parts of the outfit, i.e. both tops, the skirt, and the painting of the stockings. I did the other stuff, like trimming the wig, obtaining the shoes and hairband, and all the props (soul gem, shield, and bazooka XD ).

Personal Thoughts:

This is one of my favorite costumes so far. I've worn it a lot of times, and it's held up really well!

Styling Notes

I trimmed the wig's bangs and the side tendrils with a pair of sharp scissors standing in front of a mirror while wearing it, tying the rest of the hair in the back so as not to accidentally cut it. (I had to take a break after an hour or so to give my knees a rest XD;; )

Wig Review

Honestly, it was the worst wig I've used, and it lasted the least amount of time. The fiber was fairly plasticky and the tangles were awful to get rid of. I eventually ended up getting a replacement Homura wig from Lucaille and the color was a darker, more anime-accurate gray, the fiber was much softer and easier to comb out, and was already styled correctly to boot. Too bad I didn't have it from the outset (and I need more pictures here with that wig, arg).
