Construction Details:

The cloak itself was sewn from scratch and stays on with two hidden ties and two snaps. The undershirt was bought at a thrift store and the white collar was added by using white ribbon. The sash is just a rectangular piece of fabric. It's "tied" with a scrunchy wrapped with the same fabric. I also wore a plain black skirt underneath. The hat was just a plain top hat from the party store, with a foam block added onto the top for height, and then wrapped with black fabric. The tail of the hat was attached with a piece of balsa at the top of the hat with wire attached(for posing) and covered in black fabric. The ring was also from a thrift store. The stone was purple, so it was removed to create a mold for a new one. The new "stone" was made from resin and green paint. The ridiculously high-heeled shoes were just bought from another thrift store and the belts across were just hot-glued on. They are very VERY painful to walk in (maybe because they're a size too big? lol) The scythe is a bit of a work-in-progress, but the base was made of spraypainted pvc pipe. The skull was a Halloween decoration that we drilled a giant hold in to keep it in place. The blade was made from painted foam board and attach to the skull with dow rods. The ribs were made with wire and hot glue. The scar makeup varies depending on what's at my disposal, but I've used eyeliner, lipstick, and a facepainting stick (all with powder). All credit goes to my awesomely awesome mom for actually making this, I only got to help with bits and pieces.
