About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
People occasionally give me their unwanted fabric, and over the years I've accumulated a lot of costume satin. I don't normally work with it, but when I decided to make Snow White, shiny fabric felt appropriate somehow. The construction itself was fairly simple, I used parts of a pattern for Alice just altered to my needs. Inventing how to do the white collar wasn't too terrible, I have learned a lot for the future on how to make them better. This costume was ridiculous cheap for me, under ten bucks.
- Personal Thoughts:
- I will probably not work with costume satin much again. I had a lot of difficulty with the weight of the fabric, and fraying, so much fraying!
Dressing up as Snow White was really fun and soooo different from the costumes I normally wear. :)
