About this Costume
Construction Details:
Ok, this is without a doubt the most difficult costume I have ever made, it didn't cost me a whole lot luckily, and it took a total of 2 weeks to construct, but it was pain staking, and evil. The blue portion of the outfit is a very heavy/thick vinyl pleather, there is no stretch at all, and it is tailored to my measurements. The grey detaiing is all silver piping encased in seamlines, the piping was made by me, to ensure accuracy for colour and size. The blue and black pleather have a small hexagon print already printed into the fabric so I lucked out there, and didn't have to draw it in. The black pleather has very little stretch to it. The pants are a seperate piece from the bodysuit.
There is a total of 6 zipper total in the costume to ensure I can get into the outfit cause of the tight fit. The boots are bootcovers made of the same pleather from the bodysuit, with black heels that just slide into them. The harnesses I made a first pair, I have recently made a second pair out of tan nylon instead of cotton nylon, the guns are just toy guns with wire glued to them to make them look like scorpion guns Jill usues in the game.
The mind control device lights up, there is a trigger hidden on the inner side of suit.
The first wig I used for this costume is a heat resistant one from this site in natural blonde, I have replaced it with a Linda XL in 24/613, I felt the bangs were too thick in the first one.
Everything on this costume was sewn/made by me, including the boots lol. This costume is also exremely uncomfortable to wear for any longer then 3 hours, the mobility in it is very restricting, even to the point I can't sit down :
But I am very pleased with the way it turned out, it was a very difficult project, I'm glad it actually happened and worked out in the end ^^
Personal Thoughts:
I am very happy with the results of this costume, I want to wear it to every con, but it causes me alot of pain and takes alot of will power to stay in it for a long period of time. I really wanna try and get photos of this everytime I wear it :)
