Construction Details:

You have NO idea how happy I was to find the PERFECT fabric for this. I searched for so long & finally stumbled across it in the bargain bin at my super Jo-Ann's. I wanted a fabric that had the right weight & stretch to it & that was black in the dark but navy blue in the light. I was starting to think I'd have to custom dye fabric or give up & go with black, when I found this baby, & they had JUST enough of it left. Utena's jacket is navy in the manga, & black with blue hi-lights in the anime, so I was INCREDIBLY happy to have scored this. I also can't believe that I forgot my ring with this costume. So I threw together one last minute with some things I had laying around in my jewelry box at home. GHETTO ROSE CREST RING FTW I plan on turning this into her duelist outfit in the future
