Construction Details:

Cape: I made the pattern from scratch and I added interfacing to the color. I handstitched the large stitch detail around it and I ripped it. Leather: I found a shirt at GoodWill and altered it heavily. I created the new front so the seam would be on the side and I added the straps and buckles up to the neck. I found the pants at GoodWill and made the belts around the waist from pleather. Buckles and Straps: I sewed all the straps on the costume and I handsculpted each buckle and detail from sculpty. Holster: I made the holster to fit my leg and rigged it through the belts at the waist. Shoe armor and gauntlet: I patterned out the shapes from cardboard and then cut pieces out of craftfoam. I heat formed them into shape, reinforcing them with cheesecloth. I then sealed them (2 weeks+) and painted and coated.

Styling Notes

I straightened out the shipping bumps and I feathered the bangs to the right length. I then make spikes/flyways and stood them up with hairspray.
