About this Costume

For the shirt, I modified a white T-shirt by attaching puffed sleeves that I made using a pattern I drafted myself. The sleeves were stuffed with tissue paper and fabric scraps. For the vest, I modified Simplicity 4079. For the skirt, I sewed it using a pattern I drafted for a pencil skirt. The rope/whip was made by braiding strands of jute together. I made the jewels with Fimo and painted them over with glaze. To make the earrings, I hot glued Fimo to clip-on earrings, as I don't have pierced ears. For the shoes, I used a pair of black boots that I already own, so they were not quite accurate. The sleeves were made of a white fabric (cotton?) that was slightly stretchy, while the skirt and vest were both made of black suiting fabric (both slightly stretchy). Photos were taken by Anime News Network and Kris Zoleta (Hcoregamer00).
