Construction Details:

Everything was created/sewn from scratch with the help of some old modified patterns I had saved and an online knife pleated skirt and sailor collar tutorial. Blue and White Shimapan were purchased from Victorias Secret (you can only see them in some select photos) and the power drill was stolen from my mom's garage. 8D

Personal Thoughts:

I love Saya from HOTD. Her feisty personality matches my own quite well, so it felt very natural cosplaying her. This costume was a fun challenge to complete. I have never done wig styling quite like this, and it really helped to improve my overall styling skills. I already have experience in making knife pleated skirts, so that was not too difficult, but sailor collars have always been sort of tricky for me. This time around, I managed to do a pretty decent job that I am quite happy with. After completing this cosplay, I am no longer as afraid of making school girl uniforms, lol.

Styling Notes

A lot of product was used on the short base wig. -Got2B Freeze Spray -Got2B Spiking Glue -Suave Aerosol Hairspray I also used texturing razor blade tools to cut the bangs and trim the pigtails.
