Construction Details:

My 3rd time sewing a full costume. The top I took a white button down shirt, which in the end I had to take in a lot because it was so big. Had to pull in the sides for a better fit, and also the sleeves because they were too wide. The sailor collar was a lot of work, 2 layers and interfacing, it came out a little too thick, probably didn't need the interfacing. White ribbon for the stripe. I made the thing that goes in between the sailor collar on the chest removable by making it a snap on, so that if I wanted to show off cleavage I could. Added light green stripes on the side, then ripped the armpit seams and tucked it in and re-sewn them again. Green ribbon for all the trim, and got green buttons to replace the white ones on the shirt. My first pleated skirt, it came out a little crooked, and it has problems falling right, fabric is not really meant for a pleated skirt I guess.

Styling Notes

Not much styling to this wig, I ran out of time. Cut the bangs because they are always so long. Used some Got2B hairspray + blowdryer to make the antennae to stick up more (but it looks a little fail). Shortened the hair in the back ponytail. Also, had to re-tie the ponytail because when I got it, they had put a lot of hair into the ponytail that wasn't necessary, so that way I could get more coverage in the back since it's a little sparse.
