Construction Details:

There is a level of hate I have for this I will never be able to reach again. First under it all I have a set of wicking cotton bloomers, a breast reducing corset, and a medium fluff crinoline skirt. The over skirts were made with a pink and red casa satin cut into circle skirts. The under kimono was drafted from historic patterns and the red and white of the sleeves are satin stitched together. The design on the sleeves were an adventure in screen printing. The over vest was made from two layers of red satin with quilters batting between them, and then quilted using my machine. The ruffles and gold edging were added by hand. The gold obi, neck piece, chest emblem, and head piece where welded out of 22 gauge steal plates then hand painting and detailed to look like silk. The necklace was constructed with sculpy and painted to match the steel. To top the hate I made 7" geta painted gold to add the height needed and keep in the historical meets industrial feel of the character.
My make up is a combination of Ben Nye Primer, Bobbi Brown foundations in 00 and 0.5, Russian Red Lip stick from Ben Nye, and MAC gel liner on the eyes.
