Construction Details:

The entire thing is made without the usage of a pattern. The outer kimono consists of about 12 yards total of bridal satin. (used because of its thickness and weight) The under kimono's fabric was shipping from the moon and is very much as closely accurate as I could get to the actual pattern. Every feather on my wings was custom colored to match the shade of yellow I wanted. The Obi was made by butchering other brocades for their designs and then stitching them to the obi.

Personal Thoughts:

I love Summer Wars, but I didn't just want to make Natsuki's normal outfit. I wanted a bit of a challenge, so I made this version instead. My first set of wings on my own and a whole bunch of firsts. Worn with Oshi's King Kazama. It was a ton of work with hundreds of things that when wrong and whatnot. But this was worth it. There are a few things I wanna fix/add/change to it, but I am so proud of how it came out.

Styling Notes

The ears are stitched into my wig. Sliding them into the netting, I did a few quick hand stitches to secure them.
