About this Costume
Construction Details:
Vest was right from a pattern, the hat and skirt I pretty much winged. Hat wasn't so bad since I like those, but that skirt was a pain in the butt to sew trying to figure out the darts and keep the slit up to nyaaaaaaah. Damn you, darts ::shakefist::

I bought a white button down shirt, took off the sleeves and put my Alice ones on, and then hacked off the bottom to add the ubiquitous Touhou Ruffle on the bottom.

The skirt trim makes me so happy - it's not accurate to any art, but it's rainbow gradient dragons. Given the character and her spellcard patterns when you fight her in EoSD (yes, I'm one of those rare female Touhou cosplayers who actually plays the bullet hell games!) it was too perfect to not do, plus it was on sale :D

Styling Notes
My husband is awesome and put the braids in. The hair ribbons are straight-pinned into place whoops.
