Construction Details:

Making this costume was like being a cracked out 5 year old with an infinite supply of crafts and enough sugar to kill a horse.

Baru was in charge of figuring out how to make the bottom half of the flightsuits while I was supposed to figure out the top half. We wrote instructions/notes in a little notebook for each other and made our own flightsuits.

The top half is a heavily modified leotard pattern and the bottom is a heavily modified pant pattern. The pants velcro on top of the leotard for ease of assembly. All of the detail pieces are some mix of heat 'n bond, craftfoam, hot glue, clear plastic pvc piping, and wet look spandex.

About 90% of this costume is composed of things that should not be put through a sewing machine. (But that were anyway).

Best part? The middle of the jetpack is a gigantic touchlight :3
