Construction Details:

I started the costume at the same time as Kamikirimusi, but kinda gave up on it. When ACen came around and I needed another costume I thought, eh why not finish Gria. The boots were the strangest thing, the base is a pair of boating shoes built up with foam and covered with canvas. The pants were a modified slack pattern. The apron and hat have the bias tape trim and embroidery. The wings...what a nightmare, the base is cardboard with popsicle sticks reinforcing it, with foam covered by a knit fabric which I painted. They aren't very stable and are too heavy and hang too low, gonna fix that. The bow is a recurve bow made by my father who has a small business making them. He also made the arrow, he actually offered me one with a sharp point, but since my mom was my photographer I declined
