Construction Details:

As soon as I saw the artwork for her I HAD TO HAVE THIS COSTUME! *_* This costume was made in the course of 3 days, on a sewing machine that I was not familiar with, due to the fact that my sewing machine went caput, and was in being repaired O_o The headdress was made from gold cardboard and various jewels, gems, and gold embellishments I had lying around. A hair extension was weaved through it to create the hair loops. The dress was made of a stretch velvet, and has a built in bodysuit so it fits right. The pink design on the front was appliqued on and it is stretch satin. Any sheer material on this one is organza, in various shades of pink. The belt was a velveteen that has a hook and eye closure in the front. There was about 25 yards of gold trim used in this costume to add all the little designs; the brooch is made of sculpy clay and has brooch clip glued to the back. The shoes I found for very cheap, and added the gold lace to the front, with gold trim along the sides. The whip was my original Diao Chan whip from DW6, but with a new handle.

Personal Thoughts:

I really love Dynasty Warriors, and this dress really spoke to me, I love the design on this one, cause it really captures the "dancer" aspect of the character. I had so much fun wearing this costume, I also commissioned a Gan Ning and Pang Tong from DW7 for my friends David and Matt, who accompanied me :)

Styling Notes

Almost no styling was needed to this wig, I trimmed the bangs a bit, and the headdress with hair loops is a seperate piece altogether lol
