About this Costume
Construction Details:
The base was a Capezio leotard with added lace and garterbelts and a shirt I thrifted sewn onto the very top. I pinned the garterbelts (with buttons sewn on) onto my socks because I had to wear the socks with three other costumes that con. The top two skirts were both suiting, the outer one with heavy interfacing and a gold spandex eagle heat n bonded onto it. It doesn't hold very well so I may go back and hand embroider it with gold thread. The scalloped skirts are white Baroque satin, and one is a lot cleaner than the other because it was my first time scalloping and improved between attempts. The bow attaches to the skirt with a snap. The blazer and vest are the same red suiting as the red skirt, and I'm not great with sleeves (have only made non-poufy sleeves one other time) so I ended up with weird darts in them to make them fit into the armholes because I don't do things in order and get lazy. It makes the shoulders look big, which is good since I forgot to get shoulderpads. I was going to add the patch but I had some serious medical issues right before the convention and barely recovered in time.
Personal Thoughts:
This jacket was trolling me. I swear to God. Everything about this was so difficult to piece together and it took ages. I'm happy with the turnout and I want to wear it again, though!!
Wig Details
Wig Brand
Fantasy Sheep
Wig Name
Hetalia Hungary

Styling Notes
I wore my Hungary wig, so the bangs aren't perfect, but I don't really care because most people aren't horribly careful about their Stake wigs.
