About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I have extensive details of how this costume was made in my blog
A brief explanation:
The dress is made of iridiscent silk, the breasts are latex, the bones came from a replica skeletion pained with acrylics, the crown is mostly foamies, the make up is krylon and the moon is made of foam. - Personal Thoughts:
- I had about a year's notice to make this costume, and I'm pretty glad I did since it was very time consuming to make... It was amazing to have an almost complete Odin Sphere group and I got to meet some very talented people because of it.
This costume certainly pushed me in many aspects and I learned much from it. Even though I prepared for the physical demands I would endure from it, it was still painful and tiring to wear. The bones and dress weighed me down as well as keeping my head upright for the sake of the crown, I was also wearing platform shoes and a corset, the lovely Florida heat made it extra steamy!
