Construction Details:

The costume's pretty straight-forward. I bought a pink sweater on eBay, and white trouser socks from SockDreams. The dress was made from scratch - even the plaid! I was having trouble rendering it, but then Ukraine from /cgl/ helped out and was a lifesaver. I got the plaid custom-printed by Spoonflower, then drafted the dress pattern myself and sewed it up. It's lined with white cotton from a bedsheet I used when I was a little girl because I finished it the night before I left for ACEN, so I didn't have time to go to JoAnn's and get fabric. 8D

Personal Thoughts:

love doing Silent Hill cosplay- it's one of my absolute favorite series! Sometimes though, I'm just not up to doing all the Bubblehead Nurse makeup, so I wanted another character from the series that was a lot easier to get into, especially when I was exhausted from doing more complicated costumes during the day. So Cheryl it was! All costumes should be this comfy. I like wearing sweaters and no shoes. And lurking around in filthy basements with my Alessa.
