Construction Details:

Skirt, glove rolls, sleeve cuffs and collar are made from Casa satin in color blue jewel. The bows are made of a thin satin backed with heavy interfacing. I've made so many fuku and sailor moon bows, I kinda just measured and cut to make them. It's second nature. The Sleeves and underskirt are made of a shiney sheer from the casa collection. Skirt is a circle skirt pattern that was widened at the waist and pleated for the extra fluff and volume. Lt blue ribbon is the waistband, and the skirt snaps on in 6 places. 2nd ribbon was added using double stick tape after putting it on. Collar/bow is also snapped on. Body suit was made from the green pepper skating pattern, altered to be one peice with no seam. It's made of cotton lycra dancewear knit from Joanns, but doubled since its a bit thin. The whole thing just pulls over my head and it has 3 snaps on the crotch seam.

Personal Thoughts:

I've always wanted to do an eternal fuku, I thought I'd do Chibi moon before Mercury, but I grew out of the chibi moon phase a couple years ago. I love the eternal fuku design.
