Construction Details:

Probably the quickest costume I've ever made. Either that or second. a) because it's not labor intensive, and b) because I have no time. FFFFFFF ADULT REAL LIFE JOB. But yeah.

Personal Thoughts:

Spirited Away is one of my favorite Miyazaki movies, so Haku has always been on my "I want to cosplay this" list. I thought that Sakura Matsuri would be a lovely place to wear the costume and take photos! Traditional Japanese clothing is easy to sew, even if Haku's costume is full of weird historical inaccuracies. (2011: I dyed the wig to get his weird green-colored hair-- it could stand to be a bit darker, but I had to dye it twice as it is... 2014: Bought and cut a new wig)

EDIT: I'm super happy that Bluucircles joined me as Chihiro and we cosplayed this together at Sakura Matsuri 2014. It's something we've always wanted to do together, I'm so glad we made it happen finally! We had a lot of fun trying to recreate scene during our photoshoots, and a lot of people were excited to see us there!
