Construction Details:

Jacket is made with suiting and lined with brodcloth because the only lining I could find in store was shiny and I didn't want that. I had to dye the fur with a dye I mixed from Sharpie's, rubbing alcohol and water. Similar to a wig dying method. The gloves and the shirt are a stretch cotton blend, and the pants are some kind of cotton blend. I made the shoe laced as well from the same yellow trim on the jacket and gloves. The sword was my great pride because I only spent $2 on the materials! Its mostly foamcore and a bamboo piece from the Dollar Tree, with a thin layer of paper-mache and a few coats of Elmer's school glue, then painted.
I had somehow in almost 10 years of cosplay never made pants, gloves, or a sword before. So those were the biggest challenges.

Personal Thoughts:

Synchronicity is hands down a favorite Vocaloid songs and videos. So sad that after we started on these they announced there would be no part 3.
I was nervous about this outfit since I don't like to show my arms, but I sucked it up and went for it since I have such a cute Rin and amazing group with me. Hopefully people will be looking at them more.

Styling Notes

Extra hair trimmed was formed into a pony tail with hot glue by my Rin. Sprayed and heat set the front- but it was rushed and fell out pretty quickly. Running from our hotel to the convention in the rain didn't help much either.
