Made the dress out of dark red taffeta, the blouse out of red chiffon, and the collar and cuffs out of black satin. Taffeta wasn't too bad, except that once you poke holes in it with your needle, the holes don't really go away. Chiffon, however, is a slippery bitch! I was most unhappy wih

Personal Thoughts:

I decided to make this costume to pay homage to my gateway drug to anime, Sailor Moon. (I have an Eternal Sailor Jupiter outfit, but it is shameful... I do not speak of it... except to mention that it is shameful.) And since I didn't have a group, I went with one of my favorite standalone villains, Black Lady. :)

Styling Notes

The base wig is a Femme Fatale from Amphigory with 2 packs of light pink extensions. I used the criss-cross method that I first experimented with on Himawari, only I did it a lot slower and a lot more precisely since a pink wig wouldn't be as forgiving as a black wig if the cap was a little visible in spots. I used a combination of tutorials around the internet, but also made up a few methods... Mostly out of necessity since the holes in the bottom of my odango weren't big enough for stubs!
