Construction Details:

EDIT: Since making this cosplay in 2011, I've added an accurate trim to my vest, outfitted my shirt with appropriate French cuffs to accommodate my cufflinks, and I made a brand new gun.



I gathered the shirt, pants, and shoes, and altered the cuffs on the pants, and altered the shirt. I made the vest using a pattern altering the design to add width, length, and to make the back one piece. I also added a collar based on a collar from another pattern. I made the Tommy gun using foam core, duct tape, a dowel, a PVC plumbing fixture, yarn, paint, hot glue, and a nylon webbing strap.
