About this Costume
Construction Details:
This wolf goddess is too adorable in her human form. Seriously. Just too adorable. And she loves apples! This was a rush costume, but pretty comfy. And I learned how to put long sleeves on a shirt. I've leveled up in something so basic..the black pants are black sweat pants from salvation army that I shortened, cleaned, shrank, and added purple trim and gold details to. The purple shirt is completely made from scratch and so comfy, the maroon rope is made from stretchy material and stuffed with plushie stuffing, and the ears and tail are made from cheap fur dyed with acrylic ink/alcohol/acrylic paint. I really wish I could have gotten a better fur for the tail and ears but good faux fur is ridiculously expensive...about $26 a yard, so I passed it up for now, but maybe in the future I'll upgrade the tail and ears. Belt charm is made of sculpey clay hand molded molded around plastic stones, painted with acrylics and nailpolish, with a hotglued safety pin in the back to keep it on the belt. The gold strips on the shirt and pants are thinly cut strips of gold pleather. Shoes from Salvation Army and painted with a mix of fabric paint and acrylic paint. Wig is a New Look brand Alicia XL colored with FW inks and sharpies and markers. I wanted to buy a really nice wig from Ayanamisatoru or the Horo character wig from cosplaywig on eBay but ran out of time and money...This is such a budget cosplay for me. I used a wig I already had and cheap fur and cheap fabric and salvation army pants and shoes...>.
