I've always wanted to cosplay Robin from WHR. I'm happy I finally did. I know there are some changes I need to make to mine, but for now I think it came out pretty good. For the pattern I used the Victorian costume one they have for Simplicity. It's a two piece there, but I figured I'd just make a one piece out of it. It ended up still being in two pieces which I plan on sewing together, but for now it worked just fine since the apron over it covers it. I will say that making the sleeves was a little challenge, but then still came out pretty good. For the apron I ended up taking a jumper pattern i was using for a different cosplay to make it. Just put a slit in it, and it was done. I also added a petticoat under neath to puff it out a little, I wanted it to be a little fuller. I ended up making the pendant myself with Sculpy, which turned out not that bad, I wished I could have gotten the details a little better, but it did the trick. The hair..well...I ended up not getting a wig for this one since I was going to dye my hair, but opted out in the end. Next time I cosplay her I'm going to get the blonde wig, but for now my hair was just fine. Making her hair though was definitely work! I ended up using wired ribbon and some gummies to get it that way. I didn't use any other wire in there, so for that I think it turned out pretty well. Down the road I need to still alter a few things, and take in the apron since it's HUGE on me, but again it worked just fine for now!
