Construction Details:

This is a costume of heavily altered patterns, altered clothing from Goodwill, and things from other costumes.

The pattern I used for the jacket was Simplicity 2482. I cut out the designs from the pattern and added seam allowances, then pressed the seam allowances under on the red and topstitched it onto the black. Added darts in the back (at widest, they're two inches) and took in the sides about six inches each at the waist, tapering out for the flare. The ends of the sleeves are gathered, and the cuffs were taken from Simplicity 2758 (which I already had for another costume).

The Team 5D's patch design was taken from here (http://fav.me/d2lq6g4) and printed on iron-on transfer paper scaled to three inches across. For now, I have it transferred onto another piece of cloth and sewn on, but I'm going to print out another and transfer it directly onto the jacket, so it'll be in a different position later.

So technically, this isn't *quite* done.

Styling Notes

This was my first major styling job. Started by straightening the base wig with a hairdryer, then dyed it to match the wefts better. The hairline was made using Hee-Hee's turorial. My mom was my second pair of hands when we put in the curler and held it while I doused it in hairspray. (I need to fix it up a bit now.)
