Construction Details:

Alcyone is the powerful sorceress warrior, on service of the dark Zagart, enemy of the three magic knights (Umi, Hikaru and Fu) in the anime of Rayearth. In pure Clamp's style this character has sinuos shapes and gorgeus beauty, and besides a marvellous sceptre that hold mysterious powers. The realisation of the costume was very complicated just because there are some different materials and stuffs, so I had to take a choice about the realisation of some things -and, don't forget, only 6 days to do it!!- For example the cloack in the illustrations of the Clamp is lilac, instead that in the anime is white, but I prefer the first one cause the body, the gloves, the armour and the boots are made in red lamè... so the scenic impact is very cool! To realize the gems I utilized the Christmas marbles -obviously lilac- for the little ones, while for the big ones I bought some plastic trasparent balls, and I painted them with acrylic colours. It's evidently an unconfortable costume but be sure that it gives a great effect!
