Construction Details:

The speakers of the headphones are model magic painted with acrylics and the band is a headband covered in craft foam and painted. The speakers connect to the band with floral wire I duct taped under the foam.

The kanzashi are folded out of cotton and then strung together. I hot glued beads in the center and hair clips to the backs. I found sprigs in the floral section and cut them up to add to the kanzashi.

The white shirt...I hated this thing... I went through around three tries with it. It ended up being made out of white twill and the third time I decided to use a pattern but ended up scraping that idea and winging it and it worked out pretty well in the end. All of the writing was done with acrylic paint mixed with textile medium. The bow is more twill with interfacing. The blue shirt I already owned and just sewed bias tape onto the ends of the sleeves.

The skirt is blue duck cloth and orange bias tape and is lined.

The belt is awesome because I love it when I get pocket with a costume. It is green duck cloth with yellow bias tape. The 'Roots 26' is white acrylic paint and textile medium.

The leggings are navy duck cloth with orange bias tape. I painted on the designs with orange acrylic paint and textile medium. The orange sections are more duck cloth and 'Noisy Doll' painted on with more paint and textile medium.

Styling Notes

Cut the bangs and hairsprayed them into sections.
