Construction Details:

farily simple construction. used a pattern for poofy pants and shortened them, adding an extra 12 in on the sides for more poof. The jacket was made using a basic coat pattern and modifying it to be shorter at the hem and added an extra 14 in to the sleeves to make them longer. Tail is made out of cotton on the bottom and a stretch faux-snakeskin on top (is 82 in long) and attached to a belt worn underneath the shorts. Collar is 3 layer cardboard/3 layer paper mache and the raised edges made using hot glue. Bolt purchased at Home Depot, plastic chain was painted silver. Hoping next time I wear this out I'll have a Chimpette counterpart!
