Construction Details:

I LOVED making this costume, which is saying a lot cause i hate to sew. I made my patterns from scratch including that darn box-pleat skirt, and the top was a bit easier. All the trim is stitched down, the cream thin strips on the skirt and sleeve cuffs had a wonderful texture that will probably never photograph :/ and i aged/dyed my collar fabric so it didn't look so crisp and new. I sculpted the charms with the little clay i had left and will be making new ones. Holsters were constructed mostly by my bf honnou, i just stitched the belts together. Shoes were chopped up and colored and altered to the shoes that you'll see in pictures, took a lot of work, but I'm happy with the results!

Personal Thoughts:

Last year when the trailers were released I instantly fell in love with the look, and character designs. After watching it in theatres I still loved Sucker Punch, but then again I expected to watch something pretty and eye-catching, which was exactly what i got. I really adored Babydoll's design and thought I would make it for Wondercon.
