Personal Thoughts:

My husband and I like to watch One Piece on Saturday nights (dub, I know, I know). A couple years ago, I picked up a One Piece pencil board at a convention with Princess Vivi in a belly dancer-ish outfit on it, mentally filing it away for possible future cosplay. Loving the Seiyuu for Luffy, Mayumi Tanaka, I got interested in making this again, partially as a CosWorx project. Almost every single thing used in this costume either is available or will be in the store. The wig, fabric, eyelashes and other things... all CosWorx. The beads and flipflops are my own :) The wig is a Linda XXL wig in color 60 colored with my secret mad scientist recipe to get Vivi's crazy manga shade of blue. In case anyone is curious, the Linda (and its cousin, Alicia) wigs dye amazingly well. Needless to say, I love how this wig turned out and how it makes my eyes look so blue! Yay for the pretty pirate princess!
