Construction Details:

The bodysuit + gloves + bootcovers were commissioned online and unfortunately arrived in a color completely different than what they're supposed to be...

I bought a special vinyl spray paint to correct the color , it worked wonders and it dries really fast! I deconstructed the boot covers to add different fabric around the knees and the decorations surrounding the heels. Unfortunately sewing the zipper back into the vinyl might be something I totally f***d up >_<

I had to take in the bodysuit about quite a few centimeters since I measured myself during a "fat" period when I ordered the costume :p and I also got pretty strict with my diet right before Megacon. I would like to remake the bodysuit with a strechier and somewhat shimmery material, it's also missing the blue streaks that go on her buttocks and portions of the red shoulder trims (insufficient reference pics...).
The zipper should also wrap all the way around to her butt.

BOOBS: Another huge issue about this costume was the cleavage situation. I used a sticky nubra. The cups can pretty much be positioned however you want, so I added a clear strap that held the cups as a halter bra, which gave them a nice lift ^_^
Using a sticky bra also prevented the possibility of "wardrobe malfunctions" better than pasties. Add to that double sided tape AND spray adhesive all along the zipper to attach the costume to my body and really guarantee nothing will be out of place.

Personal Thoughts:

Ootsuki Mina is such a badass character, this is one of those cosplays I've had on my list for a while, but was waiting to amass enough cute girls to do a relatively large Getsumento Heiki Mina group.
Ootsuki was my pick because of her costume design (Purple! Cleavage!) which resembles some sort of biker outfit; only the body suit is fitted and her boots + gloves are loose/bulky, I like her color scheme and her huge radish-weapons. This is really the only Mina I would feel comfortable doing. It will also be nice to act like a "could-care-less" magical bunny girl that has too much fun destroying things...
