Construction Details:

Overall, pretty simple costume! I made the dress from scratch without a pattern, just out of a simple knit fabric. The pointe shoes are deshanked with crushed toe boxes and were hand-dyed. But who knows~! Maybe it'll give me a reason to bring the costume out again in the future! :D]

Personal Thoughts:

More Rue cosplay~! I wasn't planning to debut this until ACEN, but I had an open spot in my Ohayocon 2011 schedule, so I decided to bring her along just for the heck of it. It was so much fun to cosplay Rue again! Zhelly surprised me with her rehearsal version of Mytho, so we got to do a really fun photoshoot on Saturday night of Ohayo~. We had our full rehearsal group at ACEN, which was a blast! Not sure what con we'll bring our rehearsal versions to next, but they're tiny enough that we can just throw them in our luggage and bring 'em wherever we want. :D
