Construction Details:

I gave in and did a Stocking cosplay, after finding a super good deal on a Stocking wig that was too good to pass up. I really wanted something to wear in time for Katsu, and thought her waitress outfit from the episode where Panty and Stocking get jobs would provide the opportunity for me to carry some cute props. Stocking loves sweets, afterall ^^ Unfortunately I did end up dropping and shattering my lollipop ;; The costume was pretty much a rush job. I made the skirt and apron. Stocking actually wears roller skates with this costume, but for practicality I opted for a pair of pink plaid pumps that I already had in my closet. The shirt i found at a thrift store, which I altered and dyed pink. As for the props, I found a metal tray and some pink heart shaped doilies at the dollar tree. I also bought some peppermints and placed them on the tray, along with a piece of cheesecake that I created out of sculpy for a 3-d project I did 3 years ago. The plastic cup just has some bristol painted with pink gouache placed inside to make it look like strawberry milk : D

Personal Thoughts:

Even though this is a very simple costume, I had a lot of fun wearing it and seeing how happy it made Panty and Stocking fans made it even more rewarding to wear :] Stocking's character is adorable and I do have plans to cosplay other costumes of her's ^_~
