Construction Details:

This was hard. But guess what, I made this in 5 days! FIVE FREAKING DAYS of non-stop work. Still it's not 100% finished (as mentioned above) but I am somewhat content with what I managed. I haven't seen Kasumi Goto cosplayed at all, so I wanted to have at thee. Costume details: I went on a huge fabric hunt for ages to find the right materials and I ordered hundreds on swatches online. I told myself, this MUST be made of pleather fabrics and went on a long fabric crusade. I drafted my own patterns and the bodysuit itself was not hard but the details were time consuming. I actually LOVED working on all of the details of this because it was something different from the previous costume I worked on (which was hell *points to Quorra*). The lines/squares were hand drawn/colored in with sharpie because I ran out of money and time to order custom printed fabric. The only thing I hated was the hood. That damn hood. I kept making jedi hoods, which doesn't work for Kasumi. But when I finally created something I was almost content with, it ended up to be a tad bit short so it doesn't drape over my eyes like Kasumi's. I apologize for that inaccuracy, but I have a huge hatred for sewing hoods now that I don't want to even attempt to make another one. The white details were painted/squirted on with fabric paint, but some of the symbols got screwed up because they peeled off. What the hell? I blame the cheap fabric paint..... It's not perfect, but I am happy with what I have so far. I need a better gun, or a REAL gun that isn't flat and square.
