Construction Details:

Planned since 2009, Finally made it.
I will wear it together with a Misato and Rei at Bookfair Leipzig 2011

Not much to say. It's a very easy costume. the wig was difficulty, though. I never styled a wig so many hours...

I made everything except the Lab coat, which was bought and altered a LOT. (it was like 6 sizes too big, lol)

The NERV badge was done by me, too. I used metal (ouch), melted plastic, paper, nailpolish and glue for it (and velcro on the back)
Skirt was based of my Quistis skirt and altered in the shape.
I made the shirt in 2 hours. Really nothing special. I used my Zidane holster als a pattern for the fabric parts around her shoulders. (but those doesn't show up very good in pictures :/ )
Shoes were my old army ones (formal unit with skirt) and WAY too small (bought 6 years ago, lol) so I stretched them a little with ice.
I bought earrings with square wooden plates, saw the squares into rhombs, painted them and tadaaa~
So: really easy costume.
And I LOVE Ritsuko. She's such a great character!
And a workaholic and pc-freak like me :)

I never make my cosplays after existing patterns. I Take my measurements and just figure everything out, so it fits my body. So I can't help anyone out with 'patterns'. Really. I never use premade patterns oO.
