Well, when I had originally planned to make this costume, I was going to create a hybrid version of Terra based on the Amano artwork and the Final Fantasy Anthology CG design. Then I started playing the Final Fantasy VI Retranslation Patch for the japanese version of the game, and I fell in love with Classic Terra, as she appears in the game, all over again. I decided that since so many cosplayers made costumes based on the Amano and CG concepts, that I would try something different and pay homage to the version of Terra that I grew up with.
