Construction Details:

Frock coat made from faux silk lined in cotton. I used the Simplicity Pirates of the Caribbean pattern as a starting point but heavily modified it. The trim took by far the most time on this piece - probably about 15-20 hours to pin on and tack down.

I've made the other parts of this costume so many times before I don't think I need to note any details. Go see my D'Eon costume if you're really curious!

Personal Thoughts:

Here's yet another costume I thought would be fairly easy and turned out to be a big project. I wish I would have done a better job on the trim, but I'm still fairly satisfied. I'm happy to just have another BeruBara costume, and from Takarazuka to boot! However, I think I'll stick with cosplaying Oscar in the future. I'm not sure Andre is the right fit for me.

Styling Notes

The wig came pre-styled very close to what I needed, but I did take about 1 1/2" off the length and layered it into a long mullet. Oh Takarazuka and your love of mullets!
