Construction Details:

For the make-up: Glatzan brand professional plastic bald cap blended with liquid latex and acetone. Brow prosthetic molded from liquid latex by me! Antennae were craft foam (painted with body paint to match) with liquid latex molding directly around it. Antennae molded into brow prosthetic. Prosthetic affixed by spirit gum. Body/Face paint was Aquacolor Gr. 37, applied with sea sponge. Ear prothetics were the anime elf ears from Aradani Studios. Bald cap application time approximately 1 hour. Application of ears, brow, and paint, hands, nail polish approximately 2.5 hours.

Personal Thoughts:

I've always loved the Namekian character design in DBZ. Piccolo is my favourite character of all time, but he's also close to seven feet tall, so I didn't want to even go there XD; I picked Dende! I had already done a prosthetic and costume commission for a Piccolo cosplay before, so with Dende I improved on some things. When I wore it @ Katsucon... I FORGOT TO PAINT MY ANKLES GREEN. So yes I did edit a few pics with my ankles >_<
