Construction Details:

This was my first cosplay EVER. At the time I couldn't sew at all. So me and my roommates decided this would be the simplest cosplay to either buy or self make. At the time I also wanted to do Rukia because I just got a haircut. Amazingly enough as my hair grew out it started looking ALOT like Rukia's so it was a good idea! Well, convention time came around and my hair grew out too much so I had to go get same haircut again and dye my red streaks black. This cosplay taught me the importance of wigs. As fun as using your own hair may be, I don't wanna get a cut or dye everytime I wanna cosplay. Wigs are your friend. @_@

Surprisingly enough it was almost impossible to find a plain white collared short sleeve shirt. We looked EVERYWHERE. We finally found the perfect one in the CHILDREN'S section of Macy's. lawl. Hurray for Large and XLarge. haha. It had 1 little breast pocket and everything, JUST like Rukia/Orihime's. >:3
