Construction Details:

The jacket and skirt are made out of a twill which I dyed to color; both are fully finished and lined. Additionally, I dyed both the wig and fall, as well as cut and styled the wig myself. The horn was made out of model magic which I painted to match my make up. (Which ended up getting changed last minute and I must thank Emily for doing such an amazing job!)

Personal Thoughts:

I'm a narwhal! This costume was requested by a friend, and was thrown together very last minute. As a result I had to rush a bit, but I'm happy with the costume over all. Additionally, due to the fact that we were in the grip of a crazy snow storm and driving as well as shipping was iffy, I had to use what I had around the house. This resulted in me custom dying both the twill which I used for the main costume as well as the wig. In the end I'm really happy I dyed the wig myself. Because Kneesocks's hair is crazy and changes color in every scene she's in and this wig looks fairly different based on lighting, I think it works well. I think the only thing I didn't like about this costume was the whole being inept due to being red and staining everything I touched T_T Reguardless I still had a great time and a lot of fun in the costume, and fully intend to wear it again!
