About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I figured I would go a little old school and it appears based on the research I've done so far... a possible Persona first.. to do a cosplay of the enigmatic Philemon.
this piece required doing a tiny bit of artistic license too, as even trying to FIND pics of his P2 version where like trying to rip fingernails off a person in torture...>> I managed to find 3....half decent pics... 3!!! One of the Mask, and one half body shot...the other was a very crappy low res youtube video of the battle between your character and Philemon. That was basically fun trying to figure out vague details with from a character image about a big as my thumb...>>
So I did a few flairs based on what I figured would follow his sort of taste/style based on what I did have and how he know to sorta be.
Mind you IF there's ANYONE out there with better screen caps, or even ARTBOOK scans from P2 of him, then PLEASE send them my way, and I shall love you forever! - Personal Thoughts:
- I think the hardest part is finding pictures of Philemon in this form, so some parts of his design are in some ways artistic license though as I learn more, I adjust the design to be more accurate.
Wig Details
- Wig Brand
- Arda Wigs
- Wig Name
- Le Tigre Short
- Wig Quality Rating
- 4 / 5.00
- Styling Notes
- The original wig I purchased at a local wig shop, though it was somewhat thin and hard to deal with. At Youmacon 2010 I purchased a wig from Arda Wigs at there booth in the dealers room to replace it. The new one I got from them, was a shorter main wig (La Tigre-Short), and a ponytail piece (slightly curly), which I straitened with a flat iron on low heat. I find this wig both much more comfortable and easier to manage then the old one, plus its one of there Heat resistant models.
